What's up everyone!

My name is Christian Code and I am the Collegiate minister here at Williams Chapel AME Church. The AME Campus Ministry as we are affectionately called, is devoted to the students at South Carolina State University and Claflin University. These ministries offer results, where the students have to "get real" in order to find God.

Our church family is delighted that you are here. Many members of our church family are graduates of South Carolina State University and/or Claflin and some of our members are even professors. Here are a few names you might know:

• Brother Willie Jefferies- SC State Football Coach Emertius
• Dr. Andrew Hugine- Fmr. President of SC State and current President of Alabama A&M.
• The Late Dr. Maceo Nance- President Emertius of South Carolina State University.

Students and members of the university community are invited to join us for our mid week services called "The Encounter" slated to begin in August 2013 on Wednesday Nights at 7:00p.m. in the Staley Hall Auditorium on the campus of South Carolina State University. We also provide rides to church on Sunday morning. On the third Sunday of every month (except for the month of November and December), we will have a fellowship meal for you immediately following the 10:45a.m. worship service.  If you desire a ride, please call the church office at (803) 536-0600.



We also have a learning center and soup kitchen who welcomes your assistance. If you need community service hours or you simply just want to help, please call the church office.
